mellady.com.au's founders Lyn and Brian Mellady believe that everyone should have the opportunity to have a website to help build a better World through candid, and honest communication.
A member of Rotary, Brian suggests that all Service Clubs should do their best to communicate their projects widely in their communities and around the World. What better way than a 24 hour advertisement on the Web? With that in mind they have provided special prices to service clubs for hosting and for web page design.
Brialyn brings professional skills to the Web Design. Lyn is a respected Australian landscape artist specialising in Australian water views and realist representation of our timeless landscape. She has been recognised with many art prizes and is an acclaimed art judge and and teacher. Her skills are very highly valued in web design for artistic presentation and touch and feel. She brings excitement and colour to her customers web sites.
Many years of Brian's life has been in sales and marketing in the Chemical and Plastics Industry and he has worked for large multi national companies as well as some smaller but significant distribution companies. Brian knows "Customer Service" and how important that is to clients. Brian's "techo skills" provide customers the opportunity to enjoy up to date client and server side web technology. A passionate person, Brian is quick to criticise companies which dominate and manipulate clients into expensive soloutions when other choices exist for appraisal. Where he can he prefers to use open source operating systems like Linux and pays donations to SME Server - a Linux based Server Operating System which is highly valued and recommended.
Brian and Lyn would prefer to sit down and discuss the needs of a potential client, exploring opportunity and seeking first to understand and then providing potential solutions. Often customers tell him that they can't seem to get techos to understand what they are asking for and end up paying for what they did not want in the first place. Obviously there is absolutely no point in having Client Forms and server side databases if the customer doesn't need them and they offer no appeal to visitors to the site.
Lyn and Brian prefer to develop solutions slowly a step at a time with customer agreement. But fear not. This does not compromise speed. They have had large and small sites developped and operational within 2 days.
They do their best to LISTEN and then SERVE!
